Dogs with kidney issues
Drinking lots of fluids will help to flush dogs kidneys through and Furr Boost can be used to add flavour and push fluids. Our feeding guidelines are set at one third of your dogs daily water intake, so if you know they need more fluids, we recommend adding water to the drink. A good rule of thumb is 50ml of fluids per 1Kg of your dogs body weight.
Furr Boost is suitable for almost all dogs – it contains no allergenic raw materials, however we would recommend our plant based drink if your Furr Baby is sensitive to some proteins. If your pooch has a sensitive tummy, as with all new food products, we recommend introducing Furr Boost slowly by following the feeding guidelines and introducing only a quarter of the recommended allowance at a time, before gradually building up to a full serving.
