The most important measurement is your dog's chest girth.

Do all Cockapoos wear the same Ruffwear size?
No.
As Cockapoos are crossbreeds they all differ. We've seen teeny tiny Cockapoos that have obviously inherited a lot of mini poodle shape, size and weight. They can be a completely different size to a Cockpoo that has inherited more spaniel in size.
Should I size up?
Only if your dog's chest measurement falls between two sizes and the specific Ruffwear harness recommends sizing up. You should never let your dog wear a harness that is too big, not only will it ride around and be uncomfortable, it won't be safe.
A loose harness isn't doing its job and won't offer your dog any comfort or safety.
Which Ruffwear harness is best for a Cockapoo puppy?
For most puppies, we recommend choosing a harness that fits now, rather than buying one that's much too large for them to grow into.
