Tips for Dog Owners to Make the Best of Cheltenham
Check in advance: Even places listed as dog-friendly may have restrictions (e.g. only outdoor seating, or dogs only in certain areas) and Cheltenham is a VERY popular place to go out for dinner - always book in advance, even on week nights
Pack dog essentials: Bowl, treats, leash, coat (if wet), towel. Lots of shops and cafes offer dog bowls, but it's always great to carry your own.
Accessibility: Cheltenham is the perfect sized town for walking. Lots of the properties are Georgian and Victorian, so if accessibility is a consideration for you, check in advance as some older properties have narrow doors and stairs.
